Those who have seen the many barns throughout the USA like this bldg, and we who live in TN might get a kick out of this picture. Yes, even deployed Tennesseans have a sense of humor.
My daughter and I laughted out loud. We live in Texas but I have a bird house like this in a tree here and she and her brother just moved into a house in another city and their next-door-neighbor has one too. Keep on keeping on. We're so proud of you and glad to see your hearts are light! God bless you.
Do they have a sign that says
TACOME PALMYRA BRIDGE
When you moved with us to New Jersey in 1985 we noticed they were all over the state and thought that very funny as we lived five miles from it,and its just a small tacky bridge.
Coming from a fellow Tennessean, that is absolutely hilarious. I remember seeing those signs on barns and stuff on our way to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on I-81. Thanks for a little laugh.
Hey, great site. I am also in the Army, stationed in Iraq for a second time...about to head home though. Yes, some of these National Guard units have a fantastic sense of humor. :) Seen some funny stuff in 18 months.
Having traveled many years ago between Alabama and New York State, I remember seeing those "See Rock City" signs everywhere. What an excellent way to bring a "touch of home" to where you're at! I thought it was hilarious!
I just wanted to say from Chattanooga, Tn this is wonderful. Please be strong, and God Bless you and the brother and sisters with you. I saw this on nooga.com and on our local news on 10-18-05. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :)
Nooga.com has you up showin the TN Pride!!! And yes...these signs are Everywhere - for those of you that don't know where Rock City is...Follow the signs!!!
Take care, Stay safe...AND THANK YOU!!!! From the bottom of my Heart!

This is SO neat! We can see Rock City at the top of Lookout Mtn., from our home in the valley. Thanks for your sacrifices. Hope you all have an opportunity to "See Rock City".

I agree with you the way you view the issue. I remember Jack London once said everything positive has a negative side; everything negative has positive side. It is also interesting to see different viewpoints & learn useful things in the discussion.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's cute, LOL

Hope you don't mind us running your Rock City photo on our website, Nooga.com!
I served a year in Vietnam and one of my prized possessions was a Rock City birdhouse. I often wonder if that birdhouse is still over there somewhere?
Good luck and God bless you all and thanks for your sacrifice for our country!

The perfect addition would be either a Waffle House or a Krystal sign!
We're proud of all the 278th and are looking forward to welcoming you home soon.

I have small children that read my site, so I would like to keep it as clean as possible. Please respect that.

Three phrases should be among the most common in our daily usage. They are: Thank you, I am grateful and I appreciate.
